Welcome

Each Science-In-A-Crate is a one-of-a-kind resource that will bring science to life in any learning environment. Trunk-sized crates come brimming with activities that follow a storyline, illustrate science concepts and link to real-world applications. The minds-on, hands-on activities engage many learning styles.

Crates contain an Activity Guide complete with activity instructions, a materials checklist, and seven engaging activities. All shipping costs are included in the $25 booking fee.

Book Now to Save!
Book your fall crates, for dates up to November 16, 2009. Book before September 30 to take advantage of the $25 booking fee (cost will be increasing to $50 afterwards).

Crate costs have remained the same for 19 years, but we now find it essential to offset rising production and shipping costs, in order to continue to offer the same program. We appreciate your support in advancing science literacy in Alberta.

New Booking System
Based on requests from you, we'll be introducing a new and improved online booking system in fall 2009.

The transition to this system prevents us from releasing all booking dates in 2009-2010. We can e-mail you when we are able to release more dates. To ensure that you're on our mailing list, please write to crates@sciencealberta.org.
